One Year

Kind of hard to believe, but yes...one year ago today, Amanda finished her journey on Earth.  We remember her today, especially...and wrap our love around the family each and every day as they continue to live on, knowing that it's not just today that we think of them.

Please take this opportunity to share in remembering and honoring Amanda with a contribution to her scholarship.  You can do that through this link to Mount Hermon's donation page.

Thank You For Honoring Amanda!

Like the delicate yet hearty dandelion as its seeds are blown in the wind, the goodness in one person can reach far and live on as it is shared with others through love, friendship and passion for life.
This is Amanda.
A young person who lived her convictions, loving her family and friends, and sharing her passion for life and her faith in God.  She loved to camp, fish, play outdoors, volleyball, animals, music, crafts, and mentoring and caring for younger kids...
...and she loved Mount Hermon Christian Camp in Mount Hermon, CA, near Felton.
Amanda & her counselor at Mt. Hermon Amata program. 7/2011

In honor and in celebration of Amanda's young life, as we near this one year anniversary of her passing, we would like to ask others to join us in spreading her dandelion seeds and building a legacy in Amanda's name.

We ask for your contribution to help fund a memorial scholarship in Amanda's name for campers at Mount Hermon. Though any contribution made in her memory is most appreciated, the goal to achieve a named memorial is $5,000 or more.

Please follow these steps:
1. Visit Mount Hermon's donation page.
2. "Apply my gift to" and select "Camperships/Camp 331"
3. In "Tribute Information", select the box "Check to donate in honor of someone." Select "In Memory Of" Amanda Pinney. You could also add a comment to clarify any of your donation specifics.

This process is the most efficient and direct way to offer the maximum benefit of your contribution.  If you have questions of Mount Hermon regarding any donations, planned giving in her name or additional information, I'm sure they would be happy to discuss that opportunity with you directly. We will be in touch with Mount Hermon regarding the progress toward the goal and post progress here on this blog, so please stay in touch!

Please feel free to share this on your social media or with others whom may wish to help honor this amazing young woman.  You are welcome and invited to offer your own thoughts and comments here for the Pinney Family as you visit and/or to let us know you contributed.

Most importantly...thank you!
